Illinois 251 at U.S. 6 in Peru will be closed from time to time starting today while a contractor repairs a damaged bridge beam. More extensive repairs will be done starting next Tuesday (August 4), requiring all-day closures for Illinois 251 going under U.S. 6. But U.S. 6 will remain open.
The removal of the County Highway 9 Prairie Center Blacktop overpass crossing Interstate 80 resumes tonight. I-80 will be closed between Ottawa and Utica from 9pm to 5am overnight tonight and tomorrow night (July 27-28 and July 28-29).
