Bond was set at $750,000 in the warrant Peru police served Friday morning on 23-year old Ryan E. McSherry in a drug case. McSherry is accused of dealing ecstasy to undercover police. Police picked him up at his home on Marquette St. in LaSalle.
Police also served a warrant with similar charges against 35-year old Anthony J. Williams of Peru. He was picked up at 4th and Fulton streets in Peru. His bond is also $750,000. He’s charged with dealing methamphetamine.
The Peru police department says the investigation started a few months ago and more arrests are expected.
