Minor cannabis-related cases in LaSalle County are being expunged. The State’s Attorney’s office is getting over $12,000 to review minor cannabis cases eligible for expungement. State law requires these cases to be expunged since it was legalized state-wide in January. The money was sent by the office of the state’s attorney’s appellate prosecutor.
