Congressional candidate Dani Brzozowski says people have come to expect some corruption in government, but Pres. Trump commuting Roger Stone’s sentence is a new peak. Stone avoids a three-and-a-half year prison term, time on probation, and a $20,000 fine. He’d been convicted of lying to Congress and obstructing justice to protect Trump.
She says it makes the U.S. look bad across the globe and hurts the country in foreign affairs. Brzozowski is a LaSalle Democrat running against incumbent Republican Adam Kinzinger for the 16th Congressional seat.
