A 22-year old man who allegedly pointed a gun at someone in Ottawa after the Independence Day fireworks has two court dates. Reynaldo Diaz, Jr. is charged with aggravated unlawful use of a weapon and having open cannabis in the vehicle.
Ottawa police say a caller reported driving on the bridge when someone in another car cut him off and pointed a gun. The alleged victims were able to provide a vehicle description and license plate. Police pulled over the car in the area of Norris Dr. and Columbus St.
Diaz is to be in court next Thursday on the gun charge and in the later part of next month on the cannabis charge.
