The LaSalle County Treasurer’s Office announced $47 million in real estate taxes were distributed to 566 taxing districts last Friday. It represents one-fifth of the $237 million anticipated to be collected. The first installment of taxes are due Wednesday, July 15. If the payment is not made in time, County Treasurer Jim Spelich says late fees will be waived if the full amount is paid by the second installment due date on September 4.
