The LaSalle County Health Department announced eight new cases of COVID-19 Tuesday for a total of 280. Eleven new recoveries were announced, bringing the total to 196.
The Illinois Department of Public Health announced 707 new confirmed cases and 25 additional deaths. State totals are at 155,506 cases and 7,218 deaths. The test positivity rate is at 3 percent.
