A man in his seventies is latest person from LaSalle County to die due to the COVID-19 virus. The LaSalle County Health Department says there have been seventeen deaths since the pandemic started.
Five more people tested positive for the virus. The total count is at 196.
Illinois announced 715 new cases on Wednesday and 64 new deaths. The state has seen 138,540 cases and 6,770 deaths.
