According to numbers from the LaSalle County Health Department, people in their forties are the age group with the highest number of COVID-19 cases in LaSalle County with a total of 39. People in their sixties had the next highest at 28 cases followed by the twenties and fifties age groups that each had 26 cases.
More men have had the virus than women with 105 cases to 85 respectively. Nine men and seven women have died from the disease. The people in their fifties and eighties had the highest number of deaths with five from each group.
No one under forty has died from the virus in the county.
