Congressional candidate Dani Brzozowski doesn’t believe easing environmental regulations for business development is a winning policy. The LaSalle Democrat says it’s short-sighted and everyone will end up paying for it. Many people concerned about the environment say the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency has been doing just that since Pres. Trump took office.
Brzozowski says now’s not the time to let companies off the hook for activities that can pollute the environment. She says leftover zinc smelting pollution in LaSalle from more than a century ago shows that the environment must always be protected.
