The Illinois State Fair has been cancelled because of the COVID-19 pandemic. Illinois Department of Agriculture Director Jerry Costello is hoping young people can still have a chance to show their livestock later on.
Costello thinks the event for livestock exhibitors ages 8 to 21 will be in September. General 4-H projects will be shown online this summer.
