LaSalle County property tax bills were mailed Wednesday. Treasurer Jim Spelich says 66,137 went out.
The due dates are July 15 for installment one and September 4 for installment two. But the county is allowing people who pay installment one late to avoid the penalties if they’ve fully paid up by the installment two due date.
Payments can be made at many area banks, by telephone, through automatic withdrawal, at a drop box at the courthouse on Etna Rd., and in person. Those paying in person will have to wear a mask inside the building and submit to a temperature check.
