Police are being challenged to make sure they don’t go too far when they have to physically handle people. Police Chief Brent Roalson says a lot is expected of a police officer and training makes the difference.
Roalson says he doesn’t think police brutality is a widespread problem. But he says it must be dealt with wherever it happens. He says anyone who witnesses it should report it. He says anyone who’s not comfortable reporting it to the police department where the officer works can report it to another department.
