All Ottawa High School students will be issued laptop computers next school year. If the school is still shut down because of the pandemic, students will be better equipped to learn online.
OHS already has a third as many as needed. Supt. Mike Cushing says the district was already buying 500 more computers, but can now add another 428 with the help of a coronavirus relief bill.
The school is still working out what to do for students who don’t have adequate internet access.
