St. Rep. Lance Yednock says he and other Illinois House members have been assigned to working groups to consider what to do about the state’s major problems. The Ottawa Democrat says the working groups have been meeting regularly during the pandemic. He says when the legislature returns to session next Wednesday, it needs to work right away on getting relief to business owners, workers, and families affected by the pandemic. Legislators will also work on a budget for the new fiscal year that starts this summer. The legislative session will be Wednesday through Friday next week.
