A pastor from a church in Lena, Illinois was to be the guest speaker at a LaSalle County Tea Party event this week. Pastor Steve Cassell’s Beloved Church is suing Gov. Pritzker to get out from under the stay-at-home orders. He was to speak outside the Moose Lodge on E. 18th Rd. northeast of Ottawa at 6:30pm Friday, May 15. Tea Party director Dennis Corbin says he’ll have to find another date and venue though. He says the Moose organization informed him Wednesday that it cannot presently host such an event, given the current stay-at-home orders. Corbin says he’s confident he’ll find another place for it.
