Corn Belt Energy has switched from sending checks to its co-op members to giving them bill credits for capital credits. When the co-op has money left over from capital improvements, it’s paid back to members. President and CEO Don Taylor says Corn Belt has returned more than $47 million to its members and plans to do another $3 million early this summer. To get the refund, a member must have received electricity from Corn Belt in 2018 and 2019 and must also be a current, active member.
