A woman in her eighties is second person from LaSalle County to die from COVID-19. The LaSalle County Health Department on Tuesday also announced two new cases of the virus. They include a man in his sixties and woman in her seventies. Eleven more people who contracted the virus have now recovered bringing the total number of recoveries to 41. Illinois announced 2,122 new cases on Tuesday and 176 new deaths. State totals are now at 65,962 cases and 2,838 deaths.
