Former Ottawa High School Athletic Director Tim Jobst died Saturday at age 69. He was in wrestling, track, and football when he was in high school.

After he graduated from OHS in 1969, Jobst went on to teach at five high schools including OHS. He became the head football coach, leading seven teams to the playoffs, with three of them winning championships.

Jobst also owned Nautilus Fitness in Ottawa for 12 years and local Jimmy John’s franchises for about 25 years.

Last year, he and his brother Tom were inducted into the OHS Hall of Fame.
