Teachers will be able to return to Ottawa High School, starting tomorrow. Supt. Mike Cushing says a third of the district’s 100 teachers will be allowed in Wednesday, a third on Thursday, and a third on Friday to get their personal belongings and other things they need.
There are about 1,400 students, so letting them in to clean out their lockers and get things in other parts of the building could take a lot longer. Eventually, they’ll also have to return school books.
It’s a challenge every other school district is also facing in varying degrees depending on how many teachers and students there are.
