Ottawa City Hall began a partnership last year with Buxton Company. The nationwide customer analytics firm is getting $50,000 per year to find companies that are a good fit for doing business in Ottawa. City Commissioner Wayne Eichelkraut says it’ll be just $25,000 for the second year, because of the effect the pandemic is having on business everywhere.

Eichelkraut says he’s satisfied with the work Buxton Company has done so far for the city. Most of the work so far is analyzing data about the city and the people who shop in it.
