LaSalle County is up to 26 confirmed cases of coronavirus. The county health department on Thursday announced that a woman in her sixties and a man in his forties both tested positive for the virus. There are also two new recoveries bringing the county’s total to ten. The state announced 1,140 new confirmed cases and 125 deaths. It now has a total of 25,733 cases and 1,072 deaths.
Health officials have warned that even if the number of cases in certain communities seems low, there are likely many unconfirmed cases. People should stay home as much as possible.
