A truck driver involved in a wreck near Mendota yesterday was flown to a trauma center. The Mendota Fire Department says the truck went off Interstate 39. It ended up in a ditch with the tank trailer pushed up against the tractor. That made it impossible to get the driver out until the tank could be removed. The Mendota Fire Department says a hazardous materials team, tow truck operators, and numerous others were on the scene to help. State Police identify the driver as 63-year old William T. Fuqua of Kansasville, Wisconsin.
