Despite the economic downturn, PhramaCann – the company that operates the Verilife cannabis dispensary in Ottawa – is still hiring. Spokesman Jeremy Unruh says it can be harder for the company to hire because there is a weeks-long lag time that prospective employees have to deal with.
Unruh says there’s been a strain on current employees because it’s more difficult to hire new ones. He says the company won’t stop hiring unless the pandemic worsens or goes on for too long.
