Most in-person business at the LaSalle County courthouses continues to be suspended. County Board Chairman Jim Olson says only critical court cases will be heard. Otherwise, only the Sheriff’s Department lobby is open to the public.
Nearly all County Board committee meetings this month are cancelled, as is the full board meeting that would have happened next Thursday. The few meetings that will happen will be done by teleconference.
Olson’s latest statement on the COVID-19-related closure says it will be in effect until April 30 just like Gov. Pritzker ordered.
