A fully engulfed utility truck fire at a home in Ottawa spread to part of an attached garage. Ottawa Deputy Fire Chief Mike Mills says firefighters were called to the home in the 1100 block of Wacker Dr. just before 2am Friday morning. Firefighters put out the truck fire and prevent the fire from spreading into the home. A second car in the garage did get some damage because of how close it was to the truck fire. Everyone at the house was okay and no firefighters were injured. The Illinois State Fire Marshal’s Office is investigating what caused the fire. More information could be released later on.
