A death investigation is underway by LaSalle County Sheriff’s Deputies. LaSalle County Sheriff Adam Diss says a woman was found dead in Little Indian Creek near Leland Friday after sheriff’s deputies were called to E. 1950th Rd. He says it’s an isolated incident. An autopsy is scheduled for Saturday. The woman’s next of kin will be notified first before her name is released.
